When your phone rings how do you react?

When my phone rings if I am busy I don't answer it. In fact if I am deep in concentration I get very angry and don't answer the phone. If hubby is home I tell him if I am available to talk if he answers it. In short I am not a phone person. I like the emails and chats on the computer that is as far a I will go. I don't like talking on the phone.

I like my phone I answer it just about every time it rings. Most of time is from my son.

When my phone rings, I look at the caller id.  If it is someone I know, I answer the phone.  If it a number I don't know, I don't answer the phone.

When it rings I look at the caller ID. If I know who is calling I answer if not I don't. all my family and friends are on caller ID plus a lot of doctors for my dad and such. I like to talk on the phone only to friends and family.

I have my secretary to deal with phone calls, outside of work I only answer calls from those I wish to speak to. Everyone else can leave a message, or leave me alone!

I usually feel dread because its usually a bill collector or a scam telemarketer or someone else I have no desire to waste time listening to.

I have Caller ID, so if I know the number I'll answer the phone.  If I don't know the number I will let the answering machine get the call.

Depends on who it is. If it's my family ringing from the UK, I knock my kids out of the way to get to the phone! If it's a sales call, both me and my husband look at each other as if "well I'm not getting it". If it's a number we don't recognize, we look at each other with complete bewilderment and confusion until it gets the better of one of us! (And it usually isn't me).

Depends on the ring....I have ringtones for my family.  Some of them are fun to hear so I do a little jig with the ring then answer my family....

If it is just a ring...I look at the caller id; then decide if I need to answer it.

If it is a number I don't recognize, I run an internet search to see who it is, if it is a telemarketer - because the 'do not call' list doesn't work - I manually block the phone number on my iphone.

Sometimes i answer without looking at the caller ID,that is when it's someone i don't want to talk to.I love that show where someone answered the phone with' What' instead of hello.I did it once and the guy was well kind of scared of me yeah.

Its weird i think I have phone phobia, like it will start ringing and ill walk off into another room to avoid it

I'm not a phone person, either.  I also don't like to chat; however, I'm good with sending out and replying to emails.

My land line in connected with an answering machine and I have it set up so it doesn't ring.  It goes straight to my answering machine and then I decide whether or not I return a call.  This way I don't spend time dealing with solicitation phone calls.

I answer it when I feel it is necessary...when perhaps I'm expecting a call back from a repairman...that's it...I don't have that many to begin with  though and that's ok ... it sometime feels like an intrusion.

I look to see who it is when my phone rings. Most of my family and friends have their own ringtones that I have set. So, if it is someone I know, I'll simply answer the phone.  If it is a number that I am not familiar with or I'm not expecting a call from someone, then I will not answer the phone.
