Allergies and sun shine
« on: April 04, 2014, 07:24:23 pm »
I have allergies and find it so frustrating that I cant enjoy the pretty weather. What do you do when the weather is pretty and everyone is outdoors but you?

My son has the same exact thing, he takes allergy shots. Do you? It has really seemed to help him since he started taking them.

I do it all. Several prescribed pills, nasal sprays, eye drops and allergy shots. I still get chronic sinus infections and allergy responses. I hate sitting inside while others go out :(

I feel your pain. Alabama is in the top 10 as well. It has been "extreme" pollen counts the last two weeks. Sigh.

I've had allergies for years -- actually a post nasal drip -- found relief with Zytec when it was a prescription medicine.  Since it went OTC, I've had success with the generic version and check the internet for the economical source when my supply runs low.

I still go outside ~ just suffer from it afterwards.  I love being outside but this time of the year is very rough on the allergies.  Almost as bad as the fall is for me!
Have a wonderful day!

You might ask your doctor about the possibility of getting allergy shots, or maybe try your luck on an over-the-counter allergy medicine. Good luck.

When my allergies are bothering me, I'll take Sudafed.  Out of all the other OTC allergy medicines, this one works the best for me.  Of course, if you're a person who has high blood pressure, this is not the choice for you.

I am in the same situation each year. So far this year; nothing. Don't ask me what I did ! I simply said to God " no allergies this year" and I also take 3 chewable tablets of vitamin C ( 1,000 milligrams each).
