I am with a lot of the people on here.  It seems like it is likely a scam.  Unfortunately that is the world we live in.  I just wouldn't give out any personal information.  I do hope this is for real though.

I was emailed a tax form and an affidavit that I had to get notarized. I completed the paperwork today and had it sent overnight delivery. I also won a trip in 2012 and everything that I've been told matches up, so I do believe its real. Oh, and the car is actually an SUV. A 2014 GMC Terrain

Congratulations.  I don't usually enter sweepstakes.  My neighbor won a $400 Tablet computer and had no way to access the internet.  He wasn't computer literate so he sold it to me for half price. 

That's the closest I've ever come to winning big.

Congrats...if it's legit! I'm always skeptical, but sometimes they're real. My cousin received one of those $150 gift cards at Walmart that I hear about frequently....I'm not gutsy enough to actually pursue those "deals/sweepstakes"

I got a call yesterday saying that I had won a new SUV from a sweepstakes I entered. I was a little skeptical because it was April Fool's Day and I enter a lot of sweepstakes and couldn't remember this one. However, I was emailed the forms yesterday and got them mailed off today. I am sooooo happy! 

Congrats! I would be a little skeptical of April Fools Day too. I hope that everything is on the up and up. What a nice gift. Enjoy the ride.

I am happy for you.  Unfortunately, I never win anything and am leery of some of them.  I entered a contest for $25,000 but they asked the same questions each time.  Congrats again on winning your new car.

Congrats!  I started another thread a few days ago about this.  I NEVER win anything.  And I enter quite a few.  I do not enter the ones that look bogus or that it is not clear who the company doing the sweeps is.

How exciting.  I've never won anything that big either.  My biggest surprise was $175 in shell gas station cards showing up in the mail last year.  I was shocked and pleasantly surprised.  My daughter has a friend in high school... she won a car off the monopoly game at McDonalds when she was still in grade school.  The car is sitting in her parents garage until she gets her license.
