Do you do your budget to pay bills or does your better half?

My hubby doesn't like to do it so I am the paymaster in our house. I put the money in the bank and pay the bills and whatever is left we use to enjoy ourselves. It usually isn't much but we don't care we just enjoy ourselves whatever it is that is left.

I manage the money in our house.I do it much better than wify.To her credit shes a good cook and is an excellent beautician so her plate is full enuff!!

I'm the one that usually handles the finances. My hubby is the one that works OT to make extra money.

we have a budget but i do the payments my hubby doesn't seem to care what is done as longs as the bills get paid

During 34 years of marriage I was the bookkeeper and bill payer and I still am because my hubby has now passed away.  If I remarried I think I would try and have it be a joint venture but who knows?  Record keeping and bookkeeping was always my employment so I guess that is why I always did it at home also and like others said my hubby didn't like dealing with it.  I say whatever works in a family right?

I always do the budget.  I have a regular notebook to tell me where everything is to be paid.  We save some for a small trip somewhere, just to see something new.

I do everything in my home. My husband really doesn't do much about the finances in our home.

In our house it's a joint operation. I keep track of the budget and give him updates. He pays the bills and discusses any other expenses before we make them.
