Daily Goal Meter
« on: March 18, 2014, 04:48:27 am »
I would like to have a meter or bar that I can set a daily goal for earnings.
For example if I want to make $30 in a month I would set the bar to $1 a day.
If I meet the day's $1 goal it fills up all the way. If I make less than $1 or miss the day and make absolutely nothing,
the goal for the next day should jump up to $2 until it is met. Near the deadline of your goal if you are behind you'll have to work harder to make up for the missing daily goals. And if you succeed and meet the goal you should be entered into a end of month giveaway. I think $1 a day goal should be the minimum set for a chance at an entry. But I still think there should be lower goals like $0.50, $0.10...

This seems like another one of those "pay me for getting paid" ideas.

Just my opinion.

The only instance where I'm ok with getting paid for getting paid is the payment picture bonus because it's really advertisement for the site that people really are getting paid

I understand what you're trying to say because you didn't say money, but people automatically assume that's what you're talking about. I don't think its a pay me for getting paid, it just promotes hard work and encouragement. If it was a monthly giveaway or a drawing it would only be one member a month so they could do something that would promote FC like giving away 1 FusionCash t-shirt once a month to whoever was picked. They could let the winner pick between like a FC shirt, FC coffee mug, or FC bag. I would absolutely love some FC things in my home because I love it here and try to stay as active as I can.  :glasses-nerdy:

A daily goal meter similar to other site will make more money for everyone... especially FC!  (and us!)

$$ The daily goal meter pushes users to spend more time on your site and earn everyone more money $$

Okay, I am sorry.  The only flaw I see in the logic behind this reason is how personal it would be to each of us.  If one person sets their goal for the month to be at $25 to be able to cash out within the month and another person sets a goal of $200 (which is possible and common for some) and the first person makes their goal in the month - then they have earned a bonus opportunity, when the person who made $197 does not?  Or am I reading into your idea incorrectly.  Personally, the way I read your idea, I would say my best month ever was $80, so if I were to enter a goal, then I would say I would like to go for $81 to beat myself.  A goal of in that neighborhood is high for some, an average month for others, and way too low for others here.  But, if I make $79, then everyone who wanted to make $25 is in this sweepstakes?  Then no one's goals would be over $25 or they would just set the goal at $25 to make the sweepstakes and the rest of the money earned is just gravy.  Or, again, am I reading this wrong?  Sorry to be so picky on your idea, but there are a few in this crowd who make more per month just on their good referrals alone than I could ever click per month, survey demographics allow for good and bad months, videos are becoming more plentiful, but are still limited, tasks are personal choices for some, etc.

I think you can set that up for your own. Just set your daily goals or monthly goals. And keep tracking it so in that case that you'll see that you are succeeding in your part...

I just set my own goals, that way it keeps me working hard to try and obtain the goal I set for myself, sometimes I do, other times not but then I usually work harder the next day.

I think this is a terrific idea. I shoot for $1 a day, I would love to see a meter showing my progress.

I think this would be awesome. I shoot for $1 a day, but sometimes forget or get frustrated. I'd be nice to know how much harder I have to work to hit that goal after a few days of giving up. It would be kind of cool to be able to click an icon on the main page and have a graph of your best days/worst days in the goal meter as well. (especially with some of the algorithms seeming to change at random... it'd be worth the time to see what days I'm most productive on here)

I agree 100%. This goal meter would definitely be of much help and more than likely, make you feel more accomplished in this site. Great suggestion, I hope they add this or something similar.

while it would be nice to have a goal meter it would be so personalized by each person that it would be really hard for fusion cash to keep track of everyone that uses this site.

I do this already in my head.

Look at the Balance on top & then look on the date on the computer.  If it is a dollar a day, it should be $14 dollars on the 14th of the month.  :monkey:
