I think that each person has the right to decide what is right for their own bodies. Even if she does have regrets when she gets older, they are her regrets to have.

My 21 year old niece just got her 20th tattoo.  She has them on her arms, legs, back, and now on her chest.  How many do you think is enough?  I'm afraid as she gets older she will regret the decision to have so many and having really large ones.
I have 2 tattoos  on me

She's an adult, so she can do whatever she wants to her body.

I dont really like tattoos, although today tattoos are more popular then ever because of the music industry, I would advise for any one to get one or wouldnt get one for myself either

Well, it really is up to the individual as to how many tattoos they adorn their bodies with.  For me, one or two would be the limit but for others well, there's lots of skin to cover!!!

Exactly! I like tattooes but not enough to have one on my body. I am so afraid that I will regret it later on in life. Besides, I don't want to have to tell people that my tattoo is an eagle when I age and it starts to look like a buzzard or something.LOL That would be my luck. I have seen some amazing tattooes. My friend has one that is a giant python that wraps around her body in full color. She is an exotic dancer and told me that when she dances it looks like it is moving. I just take her word for that though. It is what-ever floats your own boat . I don't want one.

I've always thought that tattoo's are like art ... some people have different tastes.  I'm 61 and have always wanted a tattoo ... haven't done it yet.  Waiting for my skin to finish sliding down my body!  Chuckle ...  :angel11:

Seriously, it's a hard call when they are 20.  It'll be interesting to see at 60 ...

I am not a tattoo person so I would say one is too many. She does need to be careful though as some jobs might want her to cover her tattoos.

I have a couple but I would never get one that would be visible while I was wearing shorts and a t-shirt.  But hey, to each their own.  I don't really judge people for this.

I know I am old and outdated, but I do not like tattoos, either.  I also do not like multiple piercings.  I have pierced ears but only one each.  And while I'm on the subject, I think it is a big mistake for parents to have their infants' and toddlers' ears pierced.  I've seen too many kids cry when they are being cleaned and infections can happen.  I think that is imposing too much on their kids to please themselves.  My daughter was past 16 when she had her ears pierced.  I think they should be old enough to take care of their ears themselves.
