I have a government (otherwise known as an Obamaphone).  I ended up getting a Straight Talk phone because it died on me.  I pay $30 a month for 1000 minutes, texts and browsers.  It is the only phone I use now.

Six months ago hubby and I just updated to a brand new flip phone.    LOL

He's very technically compromised and doesn't like "all them new fangled things." He won't even touch a computer and after 6 months, he still doesn't know, nor does he want to know, how to send or receive a text message. Sometimes he misses a call and brings the phone to me to find out who called. 

I'd love to have a smart phone but since that's one bill he pays, I have to be happy with what I have. No matter. I only keep mine for emergencies anyway.

I just have an iphone 5s the other day and I don't like it because the sounds is so slow kinda the voice from the other line sounds like is in the cave. I am not happy with his purchased. I love my 4s better works really well.

I have the Iphone 5.  After fighting the masses who own one I finally broke down and bought one last May and have no regrets.  Everyone in my family has one.  The kids have had problems with theirs: My son's kept shitting down and my daughter can't speak on hers with out using the speaker phone option. Both of them went to the Apple store.  Apple replaced my son's phone immediately because this was a known problem that the phone was having and it was within the first ninety days of him owning it. They wanted to take my daughter's phone and charge her sixty five dollars to fix it.  She has become very attached to her phone and respectfully declined.
