I can  make it soft. But in its normal state its course and naturally curly.  My mother prayed for a little girl with naturally curly hair, and she got one.  To potential mothers:  please don't pray for naturally curly hair for your baby girl.
She won't like it.

I have a very long hair and used to be soft but since I had a baby I always tied them up so my baby doesnt pull them.

I had to laugh at this reply because I know exactly what you're talking about!  My Mom didn't pray for a little girl with curly hair, I just inherited it from my Dad, LOL.  Yes, in it's natural state, it's pretty coarse but, I use a great "defining cream" I found that makes my curls curlier and makes my hair really soft.  The product is by "Organix" and it's called "Moroccan Curling Perfection Defining Cream."  I'm really very happy with this product.

It is when I flat iron it! :) lol It got really damaged after I bleached it in 2012, but I cut it off and since then only dyed it once (black) and it's fairly soft now. The bleach did more damage than I had thought it would - and since my hair was red when I used it, that somehow translated into it turning my ends pink! :o

My hair is naturally curly and very hard to manage. The lady who cuts it can make it look really nice but I can not do a thing with it.

My hair is soft when I flat iron it, which isn't often with me being a stay at home mom now and my guy working out of state weeks at a time its soft when he's home rest of the time its in a bun or ponytail to keep our daughter from pulling it lol.

My naturally curly hair isn't as soft as it was when I was a teen ager, getting up there in age and now have a few grays showing up.

I must say as I get older, my hair seems to get softer cause when I was a child I had very curly, coarse hair and believe me I hated it!!!!

My hair is naturally curly so sometimes it can look frizzy. One thing that changed the look of my hair was using a leave-in conditioning creme on it everyday. My curls look better and my hair is not frizzy.
