You can't make money directly, however, you can search engine optimize your website, ecommerce site, blog so that it can appear at the top of the search engines.

I heard of a way from a guy at work.  But, I don't know exactly how it goes because you have to invest money!   Needless to say..... I was not interested in what he had to say after that!

ou don't make money from Google like you think. They have AdSense where you can have Google put ads on your blog and they pay you that way. But it is not a lot of money. Getting your site or blog high on Googles search is a good way to promote.

It is not a rip off.  But it is not something that is easy nor from what I have seen something that would make much money.  I think people who claim to make thousands a week are lying.  Like someone else said if you have a website you can get adsense but you have to have a site with high traffic.   They have to approve you and your site.  You get money based on clicks from ads placed on your site.  If people are like me I don't click ads on websites. If I am interested in a product I do a search and go directly to that site.  I don't trust links.

There is a thing that I have seen from time to time that IS a scam where these 2 guys claim to make thousands a week and I mean THOUSANDS by placing ads on websites and you work maybe 20 minutes a day and just sit back and watch the money roll in.  I got a no obligation free cd from them supposedly telling me how to do it.  Basically I send them money and they probably do make thousands from the money people send them.  They kept emailing me and I told them what I thought of the scam and I have not heard from them since.

The thing is if it were possible for anybody and everybody to sit on their butts at home and work 20 minutes a day online and make in excess of $5000 a week then nobody would work.  Everybody would do this awesome online job where you make $1000 in 20 minutes.

Regardless of what strategies you use to make money online you need to be creative, have a product or service that others are willing to pay for and plenty of advertising or exposure to what you have to offer.  There have been plenty of individuals interested in making money online.  Few of the countless many make any money at all, primarily because of all the misleading and false advertising that can be found online.  However, for the few that are determined to never give up that are willing to sort through all the c**p there are good opportunities out there.  Most opportunities however are opportunities to roll up your sleeves and get to work as all things worthwhile often take money, time and energies to make successful.

Google AdSense is the only thing I have heard of that you can earn money from Google. Of course one could have a job with Google but I don't think that is what we are talking about. AdSense, from what I understand, places adson a persons blog and/or YouTube sites and you are paid for the number of views. I think that YouTube and blog people that have a million subscribers or so can actually be earning worthwhile sums!
