How do you organize your closet?

First I have my shirts then pants then suits and dresses in the back since I don't wear those as much.  I have my hamper in the front part of the closet since the shirts are shorter they don't block the hamper.

I don't really have a set way to organize my closet. Most of my shirts are in drawers but I keep things like cardigans and sweaters in my closet. My jeans are in there too but I may switch them to drawers soon because I always end up piling stuff in front of my closet which then becomes a hassle to get to.

i have all of my shirts,pants,shorts together.and my clothes i dont wear that often in the back of the closet

I have all the wintry stuff in one half and all the spring summer stuff in another - tops, then pants

It is very hard for me to keep my closets organized.  I do hang up clothes oh hangers. I make sure nothing is piled up on the closet's floor.

I don't really have much of an organization scheme.  Basically shirts are on one side, pants/dresses/skirts on the other.  I have been thinking about getting a better rack/shelf closet system installed to make more efficient use of the space.  Right now it's just the typical single bar with a shelf on top.  I'd at least like to have the dual hang bars on part of the closet for all the short shirts to take up less space.

I have my spring and summer clothes on one side and my fall and winter on the other like my sweats and turtle necks. other then that I don't do anything else.

Basically, I'm trying to get rid of everything I haven't worn in over a year which seems to be a lot!

I have my clothes for the season in my bedroom closet.  My off-season clothes are hung up down in the basement under the stairwell.

I organize my hangups by color of shirt and by type....so all the white shirts are together, reds together, browns, etc.  I have my sweatshirts (winter time) together in the back of the closet.  My slacks are hanging in the middle because I don't have my shoe organizer there so the longer slacks hang freely.

I like to organize my closet  by color. The shirts go in the front since they're shorter. The pants go in the back. Ever since I started doing this it has been so easy to find things.

I don't have a special way that I organize it but I have my jeans, pants, tops, hanging up on one side of the closet and my casual outfits on the other side hanging up neatly. And everything else I put up in the dresser drawers like t-shirts and etc...

Starting at the left...
I have my work blazers, then my work dresses, followed by work shirts, work pants, and work skirts. After my work clothes, I have the rest of my shirts and dresses.
All of them are in rainbow order, and from longest sleeve to shortest sleeve.
My jeans I have folded in my dresser.

I used to "organize" my closet by seasons, but, since I have lived in the southwest for a long time now - there really is no seasons - except SUMMER and COOLER!!!!  Needless to say, that makes life a whole lot easier!!!!

I mainly use my bedroom closet space to hang up dress clothes, such as my church clothes.  My every day attire consists of jeans and tee shirts or sweats, shorts.  So, my normal attire is quite relaxed and casual so rather than need to hang them up in a closet on a hanger I have them in a dresser.  We also have a coat closet near the front door so, you guessed it, that's where I hang my winter coats and keep winter hats and gloves, scarfs, etc.
