i have never been because my husband really hates musicals however they are one of my favorites.  i would love to go and see the sound of music some time it is one of my favorite movie.

My daughter and I went to see Phantom of the Opera and we have also seen the Nutcracker Ballet.  We both loved Phantom of the Opera.

I love musicals. I went to see Phantom of the Opera in London twice, but about 10 years apart just to remind myself of how good it was. I also saw Aspects of Love, The Lion King and Grease. They were all very good but nothing was quite as good as Phantom of the Opera. It was just superb!

Years ago I seen Phantom of the Opera on Broadway in NY and I also saw West side story!!

I'm not the hugest fan of your classical musicals, but I do like watching them once in awhile because the people are so talented!  I'm a big fan of "Spring Awakening" and "Avenue Q" though, they're definitely not your ordinary musicals, which might be why I liked them so much.

I've seen several, and participated in several when in high school.  Was in the pit orchestra for South Pacific, King and I, and Oklahoma.  Watched my brother as one of the boys in the local band in "The Music Man" (community theater production).  Other high school productions I've seen are Fiddler on the Roof, Sound of Music and Finnian's Rainbow.

I saw a college production of Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat.

The only professional production I've seen live is Les Miserables.  I did see a DVD of the 25th anniversary live performance of Phantom of the Opera (got it for my niece who was a big Phantom fan at the time).

Yes I saw Jesus Christ Superstar in New York,  a chorus line,   Cats, and I cannot remmber the other ones.

I've seen Lion King and it was really magnificent with all the costumes and makeup. I want to see Wicked. I can really get into a good musical. Unfortunately by the time I get serious about seeing a certain musical, it has ended.

Unfortunately I think so.  Seems like we went on a field trip that was a musical when I was a kid.
