That is been happening for ever now, I started going to Super-Walmart about 18 months ago because they really where the cheapest around the area where I live, but even them have being raising the pries up 1 to 5 pennies at the time.  Now I look around to the 3 or 4 grocery stores in my area and shop in every one of them, from the sales, because is not worth it the 10 miles drive to Super-Walmart to pay the same price when Food Lion has a sale that equals the same $$.

They are not been nice to the people, food prices are up salaries down, cost of living is not equal now a days.

grocery shopping has become a sort of game for my family.  I try to use coupons for everything that we buy and some store allow you to use double coupons.  i also look at all the local ads each week so i can compare from one store to the next and i typically make 4 to 5 different shopping list so that i can save the most money.  one of our local stores now offers money off on a gas card and double coupons so not only do i save money at the store i also save money when i put gas in my car.

As gas prices go up everything we buy goes up.  I try to use coupons whenever I can.

I don't eat a lot of meat.  It's not good for you and I can't afford it. lol.  I eat fish if I can get it on sale.

I did hear this morning milk is expected to rise 60 cents a gallon.  My mammaw called me all upset this after noon.  It is sad cause we are going to be doing without.  Especially the ones who can't find jobs.

I bought a bottle of salad dressing at Ralphs/Krogers for $3.49 on sale, normally $4.99.   Hidden Valley Southwest Ranch.
Prices are out of control.   It is a wonder how people manage to be so overweight, food is so expensive.

My husband and I just eat once a day because we get food stamps and that all the food it allows us to eat once a day.  We only have one income which isn't enough SSI pays 721.00 a month and I can't work  so the only thing we can do is cut back on groceries, and medicine we do have co-pays and if we were just getting one or not so bad but it comes to $45 and co-pays for the doctor run from $2.00 tho $3.50 and its adds up when you are on a fixed income.

The price of meat, milk, vegetables and others have gone up. I'm on food stamps but hopefully the soaring food prices does not eat up my food stamps so fast.

The price of food has really gone way up. We try to eat healthy. There are only two of us and it costs us about $500 a month. I don't know how families do it. I try to use coupons but they are rarely for anything healthy.

I have noticed the prices going up. My girlfriend is a major fan of the Shoprite by us, and she always says they are cheaper than everyone else. I don't see that. I know they have raised all their prices.

They stated on the news yesterday that milk prices are suppose to increase $0.60 a gallon in the near future.  I don't see how big families can make ends meet!
Have a wonderful day!

How does food stamps only allow you to eat once a day?  Use coupons and buy cheaper food.  You can get ramen noodles for 11 cents.  Two packages would feed both of you and that is a meal for 22 cents.  But a big thing of oatmeal and a loaf of bread.  Another cheap meal.  Get a jar of peanut butter.  Last forever.  Eat crackers or bread with it.
