  8)IT's a time for love and chocolate. Does anyone dread valentine's day as much as i do? Lol probably because i dont have a special someone. But thats okay, ill just spend my valentine's day with my girls, the ones who dont have significant others. I cant wait to see the bvalentine's movies coming out. thats all i have to look forward to.

just another day to buy  things.    we will probably go out and eat  who knows,,,  I would rather stay home  LOL  nice movie,   some popcorn   and some wine.  Enough for me !!!

Well I have some good and bad memories. My hubby is a semi truck driver and back in 2009 he was on the road and ended up in a hospital to put a stent in his heart. I almost lost him it was Feb. 13th. but since we celebrate and go out to eat at our favorite Chinese restaurant who has great food every Feb 14th. So if you love someone it isn't how much you spend it is how much you care about that person.

I am not married or have a boy friends so Feb. 14 does not mean anything to me.  I work at Walmart as a people greeter so I see all the Valentine stuff and it don't do a thing for me.  Hope everyone has a good day and may God bless each of you and keep you safe.

Valentine's Day is for love. It doesn't really matter is you have a significant other or not. You have lots of other people you love so show them your love. That will make it a special day.

The last time I celebrated Valentines Day it was about 20 years ago. My boyfriend booked the best restaurant in town and I was dolled up to the nines! When we got to the restaurant, the greeter parked our car and we went inside. It was so packed we couldn't even sit down in the foyer. Eventually we were shown to our table and I new straight away it was not going to be a good evening. The Restaurant had crammed into every available spot spare tables and chairs and we felt like we were tabled in the alleyway the waitors normally walk though. I was so disappointed I have not been out for a Valentines Day Meal since then.

Well, I like the idea of having a "day" dedicated for loved ones, but shouldn't you just show someone you love them EVERY day??
