Politics is 'how our leaders are chosen.' (I mean OTHER-THAN the democratic-process ... they become KNOWN to vote-upon by Politics, yeah?)

Politics (and therefore Government) broke away from the church when Moses' father-in-law suggested that--rather than wear himself out listening to ALL the court-cases people brought up against each other--he appoint Judges to hear the people's lawsuits.

The big difference between Worship & Law came to me while I was reading God's instructions on building The Tabernacle in the book of Exodus. He there was explaining 'how long the curtains should be' & 'what to make the carrying-stave out-of,' and I thought to myself, "Why wasn't he this-exact as to the punishments for various sins etc."

Maybe He went into a little more detail in Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy, but I think the reason He didn't is because ... He Really Doesn't Care!

(Lord knows  ;D I don't mean that in a bad way. :angel11: He shouldn't care; I mean, WE won't care when we're lounging in Purgatory's waiting-room!)

All that He cares about is that we give Him all the credit!

I am not sure why i even answered this....but again its to show others what the truth is......I am not sure where your mind even is!!!

"The hec" is that you think you need to know where my mind is. Why you think that, I can't say.

"The hec" is that I do not worship Jesus. He & I & almost everyone I know worship God, serving Him whether they know it or not. I don't hear-&-preach the Gospel as 'something Jesus did,' but rather as 'the reason He did it.' (You remember that He preached the Gospel BEFORE His death-&-resurrection :angel11:)

And there's also "the hec" that we live in 'the world.' That--though we are encouraged to live Heavenly lives--the people who don't know Heavenly ways & -don't CARE to know Heavenly ways are just as powerful as we who do ... that they are just as much children-of-God as you & I are & as Jesus Himself was.

"The hec" is that you think you need to know where my mind is. Why you think that, I can't say.

I guess it's your bizzaro logic that makes people question your intent/sanity/possibility of indulging in "funny cigarettes".
But,He is God.
John 10:30  "I and the Father are one."
and
John 14:8-11  Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work. Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

-come to mind.
Your attempts to de-Deify Christ are indeed revolting.
What makes people who don't care about "Heavenly Ways" so powerful? As usual,I have no idea what you're getting at here. ???

Then where is my 'no' meaning something other than "no"? my 'yes,' something other than "yes"? (a question I asked, which you ignored when you just piped-in)

Hitch said "one side of your mouth praises God,the other bashes Him".And that seems to be the case.If you were simply an unbeliever (Like many of the colorful variety we have around here) it would be one thing to debate/ignore you.But your odd beliefs which purport to be based in the Christian Bible, are outright denying essentials of the Faith. Why can't you affirm the Deity of Christ,if you claim to believe scripture?

I ... don't deny it. I just don't limit it to 'only Him.'

I am not a 'Myth of Buddha'-ist.

Look at the actual word "Buddhist": a follower of a Buddha. Look at the actual word "Buddha": awakened/enlightened one.

I am a follower of a Buddha named Y`shua bin Yosef (a.k.a. Jesus), whose path is communicated through the Holy Bible. His path is The Light. Unlike Lucifer (bringer of Light), Jesus WAS/IS the Light. Much like a famous Buddha, this Son of God looked down from His high-white-tower home, saw people who wanted The Light but who were forced to believe they could not have The Light, & came down from His high-white-tower to show them how to find The Light for themselves.

And the church exists to keep The Light away from them (until they prove themselves righteous children of God, who will use The Light for the glory of Our Father).
