How to Afford an Adoption

My husband and I have started the adoption process, but it's so expensive!  Have any of you ever adopted or are you adopted?  I would love to hear about your experience, especially how you afforded it!  Most people don't know the average cost of adoption in the US is over $30,000!  International is more because of the travel!

Actually overseas adoptions are cheaper.  That's why so many opt for that route.

a friend adopted 3 children through private matters.  i think the court cost was 500 and the attorney fee was 1000.  maybe try privatly!!
