Religion or Religious

I have noticed over the past month or so that there is more and more subjects pertaining to religion. Everyone is entitled to their own religious beliefs. However, I do not think we should use the FC Forum to talk about anything under the sun, but we should be mindful of everyone in the Community.

Just click on the topics that are of interest to you and skip the other ones. I do agree that there have been more religious topics lately. However, as long as they are not breaking any forum rules, they are allowed to post those topics.

About 99% of the topics I start are about 'religion' (I was gonna say 'religion & the Bible,' but that's kind of a ... I forget the word; double-negative? no, oxymoron? maybe, if that's the word for 'when you use unnecessary/repetitive synonyms, like "ATM Machine"'---as "religion" is rooted in words for 'to the bound pages again'  )

I would discuss the Bible on myLot (a discussion site with NO revenue-sharing), but even FEWER people will weigh-in on that! (and that's one of the main reasons I ask Bible-questions ... to 'sharpen iron against iron,' or rather to 'test iron against iron.'

Like Brother Kenneth Copeland says, "I don't follow religion; I follow God." That is to say---religion IS NOT "belief"; 'belief' is the main thing people share with their fellow worshipers, and they call that gathering-of-people a "church," and they call the rules those people agree to follow (which are usually mixed-in with their belief ... sort of a '... or else God'll get mad at you!') a "religion."

For example (the main example), I believe we are all children of God. Christianity comes in with a "Yeah, but only through adoption when we are sired by the Supernatural Zombie Vampire (letting Him use us after we take of His blood)." If that's what they need to think in order to know they are children of God, "they're just doing what's right by them ... nothing more we can ask."

It makes me a little angry if they think I'm NOT a child of God if I express doubts about the Supernatural Zombie Vampire. But they won't be my final judge ... probably
