never saying good-bye
« on: January 24, 2014, 06:05:25 am »
I have a friend who comes to see me to say hello when she visits her mom [ my neighbor].
She always says hello, yet never can seem to find time to say good-bye.
"never can say good-bye"

Goodbye seems so final.  I like see you later.  Or like that old western song it's not goodbye just so long for a while.

:bunny:  hmmnn very interesting - well some people just don't like good-byes of any kind.  My hubby said never say good-bye just so long or something.  The good-bye seemed so final to him and he didn't like it.

I never liked the word good-bye either, just saying see you later makes me feel better

Some people are awkward with saying goodbye on the phone, as well.  I can honestly say that I like saying "Later", too.

Have a great day!
