I remember those and that was some of the best years of my youth. I also remember 8mm movies and the slide shows. Do any of you remember those? The only thing I disliked about 8 tracks was they would get tangled up in the player sometimes and if you were lucky you could wind it back up. It didn't always work like that though.

I had plenty of 8-tracks, and hated them, LOL.  However, I DO still have ALL of my albums and a few of my 45's.  I just can't give them up and occasionally still play them.  For the most part, though, I've got my music on my computer.

My husband has 8-tracks we both have albums. I don't think there worth money but maybe in 20 years they could be. Have a speech from President Kennedy my mom bought, um that one could be worth something but who knows.

I never owned any 8-track tapes, but I still have a bunch of cassettes and my vinyl.  I want to get one of those turntables that connects to my computer so I can make CD's of the ones that didn't get released on CD.  8)

We have moved enough times I don't have any of those anymore.  The memories are still with me though :)

I love old music. But now I go to YouTube and play the same songs with even better sound than the old records.

Yes I still have 45's, 78's, 33's, 8 tracks and cassettes. If I fix my phonograph I can play them. I have a special unit for the  8 tracks at least that still works. Those were the days. by the way I also have CD's and play them often especially in the car.

We have them all!  We have over 1,000 (vinyl) albums, about 200 8-tracks, over 500 cassettes, over 500 CDs.  We still have players for all of the media, also.  I bought my husband a digital turntable a couple of years ago with the idea that he would download all of the albums to a flash drive.  He hasn't gotten that task completed, yet.
Have a wonderful day!

Yeah, remember those all to well, and I will go one better... several kids had record players installed under their dashboards! Horrible idea as the needle would skip all over the place and ruin the record, but heck it was sooooo cool to have one!! :)

That's funny, I was just talking about how our music media has changed over the years to my grand daughter last night lol
