I pretty much always cook.  But I don't mind, its my way of serving my family.
Friday is our payday and we always pick something up and I do look forward to that.
Also Sat. or Sun. is usually a fend-for-yourself day.   :D

I cook a majority of the time.  A meal out - maybe a couple times a month.

I cook most of the time.  I don't like it very much when I try something new and my husband will say it's okay, but you don't have to make it again. We go out to eat on Sunday after church and then for a ride.

I have been trying to cook more.  When I was little we would have a home cooked meal almost every night but since we've all gotten a bit more busy, those have sorta gone away.  We've been going to wendy's more recently just because my mom is craving things from there.  It would be nice though to get back to making food cause I miss having left overs the next day for lunch.

I've been trying to find more recipes that will make for a good dinner but it's hard with all the crazy ideas out there.  I miss the days of looking up chicken soup and finding that.  Now it seems like I look up chicken soup and I find tofu chicken soup or brusselsprout soup or something else that's not what I wanted.  I also miss the days when people would say "1 cup Kraft mayo" instead of "1 cup mayo".  When trying out food for the first time, it's so much nicer to have an idea of what to get instead of just using whatever you have on hand.  Obviously I can change it if I like my mayo better than Kraft, but for a first time making a recipe, I don't need the ingredient that I add being the reason it tastes horrible.

We usually cook at home.  We go out to eat a couple of times a month just to break up the monotony and when everything we have in the house sounds not so good. My husband is getting to be a very creative cook so that helps alot.  38 years of cooking dinner every night wears on a person.

Its nice to go out when you can afford it but its much cheaper and easier to cook at home. Especially if you what you are doing. I also prefer to cook at home because I like my food a certain way.
