have you ever noticed various shapes and designs in nature or elsewhere.
if you look at something from a different angle, you can see more.

Things are mostly six-sided
------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's what a Pharisee might say today. You now have the chance to respond as my mentor Jesus-of-Joseph would, and I pray that you will!

I don't like geometry. it was a hard subject for me in high school because the teacher had a very heavy accent and it was hard to understand her. if I had the teacher I wanted I probably would have done a lot better,

:silly:I really don't understand geometry, but, I understand the basics of pool.  After reading your post I am sure that I will notice more about shapes.

Watching The Science Channel (where I found out there are a lot of hexagons in nature :]) they also talked about the Mandelbrot Fractal, which is like a formula trees' branches generally follow when they split into new branches & twigs & stems.

My FREE art-program has a function that claims to 'render' an image into a Mandelbrot Fractal, but I can't tell if it does so ... I tried it with something simple--just a line--and clicked 'Mandelbrot,' and it just put up some 'exploding circle' with seemingly NO CONNECTION WHATSOEVER to my line :[

I'm an artist and photographer so yes, I see shapes and colors that others miss.  ;)

Drew Barrymore just released a book of photography where she finds hearts everywhere.  She sees them as signs of hope.

Oh, okay...I thought you were talking about equations. I was about to go on a rant about how much I hate geometry, lol...

Do not forget to take your Geometry classes because you can apply basic principles for basic survival in real life situations.

Nature is a wonderful art palate. I truly enjoy taking it in and seeing things others may miss.

I love Geometry and Algebra took it in high school and college. I love all math subjects including Bookkeeping and Accounting. One of my favorites was Geometry because it comes in handy for driving and handling almost everything. It was History that always gave me trouble.
