Another nasty winter storn!

We had a nasty storm on Friday night into Saturday.  There was freezing rain.  There was a thick layer of ice on the walkway and driveway when I woke up on Saturday morning.  The rain kept on going all day, and the ice buildup on the ground continued.   And then early evening, the fog began.

But there has been plenty of melting going on, on Sunday.  And today's temperature is much warmer today.
A whole forty eight degrees!  Smile, Spring is practically around the corner,  Have a great day!

Aw, hate to burst your bubble but it's January...and what we are experiencing right now is the "January Thaw." Happens every year and usually always in the 2nd week of January. After the temperature tease, winter will return with a vengeance!

I would take FEET of snow over the freezing rain .....  and I do believe that more snow will hit again soon.... Stay Warm friends!

I hear we are getting another nasty artic blast later this week--ugh!! I don't like these crazy storms we have been having --I am so ready for spring

Had the artic blast and then the freezing rain here too.  I would rather have the snow than ice everywhere too....  We're supposed to be getting another 4 inches of snow & wind tomorrow evening, oh joy.
