You know Lot's Fear: that everyone everywhere is too evil for anyone 'righteous' to risk living near (on account of God's habit shown in Sodom-&-Gomorrah ...

(kinda like with Noah's Flood, except God 'signs a contract' that promises He won't do that again!)?

This is kinda ... maybe ... some of the peace Jesus can give you: we know--through Him--that God won't punish 'the world' for His children's corruption anymore, so we can live 'in peace' even among the most-doomed of the heathen.
