Remove Post Limit per day

Right now there is a post count limit per 24/hr period.  I understand that it can help keep people from making all 30 posts in one day, or reviving too many dead threads just for post counts.  On the other hand my schedule from day to day isn't consistant.  This has caused me to not be able to post early one morning after making 9 posts the night before.

The limit is only for newer members. It gets lifted the more you use the site

Thanks, I didnt know how that worked.  It has been a while since I had an issue with the posting limit, but thought I'd post about it as my schedule is getting all shifty again

I agree I like to post in the morning but I cant because I get home late some nights and I have to post at night

I am so happy because now I am not limited. I can write as many posts as I want and do not have to wait to give my opinion or get other individuals opinion on a topic the next day.  Thanks for the change.

Does anyone know when the limit is lifted?  It is hard for me to get on everyday.

I know my limited was lifted fairly early but I don't remember what the requirements are to get it lifted. It's really just in place to prevent newer members from flooding the forum with repeated questions and general nonsense just to get the bonus

Even if you don't get on every day and have the post limit, you should still be able to do 30 contributory posts in a month

I'm ok with the limit posts per day but I wish fc would let us post at least 15 post per day instead of 9.

I'm okay with the post limit too. I think I've only reached max post limit once since I started using FC.

But then I don't post much so I can see why this is troubling to some.

I'm pretty sure that the reason that there is a limit is:

1. It creates site traffic (you have to sign on at least a few days)
2. It detours newer members from spamming/posting 30 times in one day and thinking it will qualify to get them the bonus.

It's fine just the way it is.

You will know the more you post. There isn't a set time or number of posts for which the limit gets lifted. It's at the Administrator's discretion. Just keep making quality posts and eventually you'll be able to make unlimited posts per day. I've been able to make 10 or more posts in a day with no problem. Again, the limit is just for new members.

Thanks, I understand the reasoning and don't have a problem with it.  I just didn't know it there was any criteria to getting the restriction lifted.

  i was so glad that they got rid of that 9 post limit i suffer with social anxiety and it's hard for me to interact everyday most days i don't want to communicate with anyone but somedays i feel chatty. i enjoy blogging on those few days and reading what others have to say.

I don't post everyday either, but I like to check in pretty regularly to see what is going on with everyone.
