Here in the midwest we've had near breaking record cold.  Brrrr.  Really gotta bundle up to protect yourself from it... when the wind blows it's nuts.  It was so cold and road conditions were so bad they cancelled school for two days.  I'm so glad they did... I would hate to see the school buses out there on those sheets of ice and slush.

I just heard, on the news, that an escaped prisoner had no idea how cold it was outside when he escaped.  After a day or so, he asked a motel clerk to call the police so he could turn himself in and go back to prison.  He is now WARM in prison while he's finishing his 6 year sentence.   That's pretty cold when prison is the better alternative.

Have a great day!

You Know.. I don't mind the cold weather.. I do get tired of it after a while.. We actually are due a hard winter because we haven't had one in decades.. I feel the more we skip hard winters the worse it will get years to come.. Same with summers. LOL.. that's just my opinion.. But yes there has been record breaking cold weather across the globe.. Ironically it's nothing alaska goes through everyday.. So we are actually pretty lucky that the whole world is not like alaska..That is a blessing in desquise because i don't like ice and snow all the time.. It makes your bones and joints lock up easier even if your not an older person.

It's been 10 yrs since it's been this cold here in Georgia.  The only good thing about it is hopefully it will kill all the bugs, fleas & ticks.  Sure wish we would get a couple of days of snow! We aren't use to this kind of cold here and it just cuts through me like a knife.  I can't stand it this cold hardly!
