I live in the California central coast and this year it has been very cold. Last year I didn't need a coat when I need to go out, but this year I don't leave home with out one.

Dang!  :o I don't think you'd last through the winter here (and Oklahoma's not as cold as LOTS of other places)

At 45 (F?), I don't even need a coat on!

At 3 p.m. in PA, it's only 18 degrees but we're bracing for night temperatures in the single digits and over the weekend, it's supposed to be -3 (minus 3) degrees for the night temperature.

It is supposed to warm up to the 30s by mid-week but then another cold snap comes after that.

This is the coldest and snowiest winter we've had in years. Usually we get the coldest temperatures in February and hardly any snow. We've already had 3 snow storms in a month, this one the highest at 6 inches.

So you think it is cold where you live.
I just got this message emailed to me from my daughter's school.
Due to the temperatures projected to be at -14 degrees with a wind chill of -31 on Monday, January 6th, all schools may possibly be closed. A final decision and notification is forthcoming on Sunday, January 5th at around 8:00 PM.  Illinois has the coldest weather.

Yup it is cold, as soon as I open the door this morning the cold air hit me in the face. I was glad that I did not have to go out in it... I am ready for spring!

Where I am right now it is 18 degrees. I wish I was in Florida right now enjoying the 45 degrees.

I heard it was 16 in Philly today where I live. I was out shoveling snow for a while and if it was 16, that was the warmest 16 decrees I have ever felt. ??? ???
