Which Cookies Should I Keep?
« on: December 30, 2013, 05:47:49 am »
I regularly run the free program CCleaner to clear the 'extra' files off of my computer. Now that I'm-on FusionCash & -using the FusionCash toolbar, I'd like to know which files I should move from the 'extra'-column to the 'needed'-column.

(They're probably listed in that 'enabling cookies'-link on the login-screen, but it's good for us sneaky computer-guys to keep all our 'secrets' above-the-table  :highfive: ;) )

I'm not sure what files they are deleting from your computer, but it seems like an extra step to have a program to delete cookies. You can do it yourself manually from any internet browser you are using. Do you know what else it claims to delete?

Just ALL the cookies with 'fc' or 'fusioncash' in their addresses?

Well (I'm sure you know) 'cookies' are little files that webpages save on your computer, little files that hold your username & password for a length of time in order to keep you 'logged-in' on the webpages until you log-out.

CCleaner is a program that lets you erase all the cookies on your computer (at the same time as it empties your Recycle Bin & deletes your Temporary Internet Files and other files, so that you do not have to do each type separately), letting you 'save' specific cookies in order to stay 'logged-in' on those sites.

I clear all cookies.

But you know your browser keeps some temporary files, your recycle-bin holds onto whatever you delete, and your computer ALSO holds on to tidbits of useless information it makes up all day long! CCleaner helps get rid of all that too!
