In 'loudly proclaiming their doctrines in the marketplace' (didn't their Mystery-Man say something against doing that?) the Church of Christ loudly proclaims that '"Lord" means "Big Boss over Everything You Do".'

That is wrong. Maybe 'that meaning' has grown onto the word (like a scum-sucking weed fed by the humans' greed), but the word originates from the title "bread-guardian."

From that origin, it's easy to see how one could mistake 'lord' for 'boss' (you've got to eat to stay alive, and you've got to get bread from the bread-guardian to eat, and you've got to be a friend of the bread-guardian before he'll give the bread).

But isn't Jesus too humble to 'lord it over us'?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's what a Pharisee might say today. You now have the chance to respond as my mentor Jesus-of-Joseph would, and I pray that you will!
