Holidaze

Ok, Christmas is just days away...I'm scared! Done? How about barely started. Am I in a panic? Well, not just yet. I am more afraid of having to face the chaos of Christmas eve shopping. Oh the madness! The insanity!
But I do it every year, there must be some sick twisted part of me that likes the crowds, the noise and the smells of crowded malls, jammed highways and parking lots. I'm ready, maybe...this time of year was so much easier when my girls were younger! Toys! Not too much thought needed. But now? Well, I'm thinking about just tossing some cash in the bottom of their stockings; and yes, I still hang those up every year.
Then there are the moms. Mine and his...oh, I think I feel the panic now!

Happy Holidays one and all.

I know it creeps up on you. The countdown is on. I am glad I did all my shopping! I thought I wsa going to have all the family over for Christmas, but now that my husband is going to a Rehabilitation Facility, everyone will do as usual. I am sort of glad, because now I have more time to get things done. It is harder since I visit hubby everyday at the hospital. Wish he could be home for the Holidays, but he will be where he can recover from all he has been through healthwise.

I'm sick of the xmas ads on tv and all the emails from everyone trying to sell you stuff. I'm almost done shopping but still have to go to walmart grrr. Today is free shipping day but can't see how things would get here by xmas .

I went to walmart last week, no way you could get me to go now. I do not like crowds.  i like to take my time. But there was already a lot of items missing from shelves. Oh well next year think i will go earlier.
