I'm not ready yet ... well, almost, I have my Auntie's gift purchased, I still have my son in Fl and my nieces in CA.  We have a big family we don't all purchase gifts for each other (who could afford it! chuckle)

Christmas can be the most wonderful time of the year if you make it so.  Especially if you know the reason for the season.

I know lots of people are sad at this time of year. If you know someone like that, help them out if you can. 

As for me, I'm so not ready for Christmas, but I believe it will be just fine when I set my mind to it. In the past, I put off Christmas until after my son's birthday on the 14th because I didn't want anything to detract from his birthday, you know. So I still wait until after the 14th even though he's now grown and  out of the house.

I am only going to be buying presents for the very small kids and just a couple of others.  I haven't bought them yet.

The run up to Christmas is rather like a roll of toilet paper. The closer you get to it, the quicker it runs out! Thankfully, I have finished my Christmas shopping, there are just two small gifts left to wrap. My next job will be to defrost the turkey.
