An adult child's cry for help
« on: December 14, 2013, 08:15:47 am »
What would you do...
I have a co-worker who has a 20-something year old daughter. The co-worker, divorced, and remarried and moved 3 states away from her daughter (and other adult children). The 20-something yr old daughter wanted to live with her mom and new husband, which she did, but she began acting out (from what I was told suicidal). I told the co-worker that this daughter needs counseling. And I find out, from another co-worker, that the 20-something yr old is moving many states away to live with other friends.

Am I the only one who sees that this 20-something yr old is needing her mom? Do you agree that my co-worker should give her blessing to this girl who has talked about suicide?

Is this kind family problem or boyfriend problem? Seems to me that she wanted to live with her friend meaning she is already involved in some loving sweatheart. Why suicidal? New dad is he good to her or kind of weirdy dad. Is she having boyfriend problem causing her heart breaking and made her moving around back and ford? These kind of situations add up and causing of what she is trying to end her life. Mother need to take this situation seriously now... >:( >:( >:(
