Last week my older brother blacked out in his home and woke up on the floor around 24 hours later.  He's now in the hospital and his diabetic dog is refusing food.  They are in the jackson Michigan area.  Luckily he has great friends near by, but I live in NM and am unable to travel to him.  He's my only sibling.  Please send him, his dog and all his caregivers your prayers and healing energy.  Thank you.

Thank you everyone, it's working.  My brother is doing much better now.

It's been a rough week.  I alternated between panic attacks and crying jags.  I'm grateful that he has good friends that are there for him.    He's in a short-term rehab center to rebuild his muscles, etc..  The cause is still a bit of a mystery and he should be able to go home next month.   

However, last week he realized that his dog was declining again and she would not accept insulin injections so he had his friends arrange for her to be put down.  She's always been a stubborn handful (black lab / Rottweiler cross), but they had nine good years together.

Glad to hear your brother is recovering.  Sorry to hear about his dog.  My prayers are with you all.  I know how we all face hardships in this life but it is comforting to know that YES there is a GOD and that we have prayers to provide help and comfort.  God Bless you and yours!
