I find that if you just wipe off all moisture in the tub with a sponge right after you use it, you would have to actually clean the tub much more infrequently than you do now. That should help you some.  :)

I use Scrubbing bubbles. But as far as a tool, I would check out what is available in the toilet brush section. It seems like they would be the right angles for cleaning a tub. a mop would not allow the flexibility and miss spots.

I use a product which is exactly what you're looking for. Scotchbrite make a product with a long, and extendable handle with refillable scrub heads. I have a corner bath and unless I actually get into the bath, I cannot reach the far corner so I use my extendable scotchbrite "gentle' scrubber. Hope this helps.

no fun cleaning bath tub.  I need to do that today.  If you have pain, someone should help you.  No real easy way to do it.

I usually rinse my tub immediately after use with my shower head and really hot water.  Once a week I spray on some brand of tub cleaner and use a toilet brush to get off the soap scum.  The toilet brush is not THE toilet brush. Its a second toilet brush.

If you can afford it get a steam shark. I use it all the time to clean my bathroom and it works like a charm even to get the tough grime out of there. Its non toxic wont make you feel sick like some cleaners will and its a lot easier on the back way less to no scrubiing at all

I first remove everything around my bathtub.. I then tend to close the curtain.. I grab my shower cleaner spray and let it sit for a good 30-45 minutes .. I turn the hot water on because i have an extendable hose for my shower head i tend to use that to reach all the parts of the tub. I spray every where even the top of the shower. I keep doing that for 10-30 minutes with nothing but hot water.. I do this every week. Now monthly i will use some bleach around my tub same methods but i get a bleach spray that says bathroom cleaner I do not pour bleach into my tub or around my tub due to the harsh smell. Bathroom Cleaner has bleach already in it just not a powefull smell as pure bleach. Now i also buy lysol spray too. The reason behind the lysol is it kills germs and also is less of  a smell compared to both bathroom cleaner with bleach and pure bleach... I also purchase that in spray form and have some wipes as well. *not for everyone* But my peferred way of cleaning my tub/shower area.

I usually just spray scrubbing bubbles and wipe down not sure what other way would be better I know they have those spray automatic kinds but never thought they would work as good not too much pressure and may not get everywhere plus I think expensive

I know someone who has severe chronic pain and she wipes down shower/tub combo every time that it is used  and there is no mold or mildew because there is no time for it to grow she has never even had to change the caulk

Grease Lightning works like magic. Rinse the dirty tub first with a detachable shower head ( if you have one) or just splash it with a pitcher of water. I discovered if the tub is wet, it works best. Spray Grease Lightning in the tub and then clean as usual (with brush, rag or whatever). Don't let the product sit too long because the grime won't come off easily. It works best if you clean immediately after applying.

I have a book called Haleys cleaning hints and I try to simplify the task of cleaning for myself.  I understand that if you sprinkle baking soda in the tub and drip dish washing soap on top of the baking soda it's easier to wipe the tub surface clean.  After allowing the 2 products to soak you would lightly scrub and then turn on the shower to rinse it all down the drain.

Have a great day!
