Here in New York, we had a smattering of snow which was quickly washed out by the rain. I don't think it will be a particularly harsh cold this season. Just a gut feeling.

Spoke too soon haha. There's a heavier snow fall than yesterday going on right now. It actually doesn't look like it will stick but it's still falling. We'll see how it ends up.

The weather here in Philadelphia is bad. It snowed on Sunday and made it rough for people to get around. It snowed today (Tuesday) and all the schools were shut down. Finally, the weather forecast has predicted that we will get some more snow over the weekend.

Today we had rain, snow, and freezing rain.  The snow did not last.  It got warm enough to melt the ice, but tonight will be 24 degrees.  I am NOT a cold weather person.

The arctic cold is battering us here in Wisconsin. Temperatures have been in the single digits with wind chills below zero. It hit hard last night with the temperature dipping to -4 and wind chills at 20-25 below. We are welcoming any snowfall because that does usually warm up the temperature.

I agree. Here in MN it too has been really cold, yet we haven't had much snowfall (because of the cold temps). Although now and into the weekend we'll be getting a little more cloud cover, which will warm things up and may lead to some more snow.

We are expecting our third snowstorm of the season.  I pray for everyone who must be out in the snowy weather.  I am so thankful that we have a warm and safe home.

Our 3rd one is supposed to occur tomorrow.  I've been pretty lucky in my part of the state, but further north and south have been hit harder.   The schools have been closed a number of days already.  It isn't even winter yet.  I think it's going to be a rough one. :(

It is currently snowing here in Indiana, and this makes our second snow storm of the season. We are expected to get between 3 and 6 inches. I also think this is going to be a cold and snowy winter.
