That was an amazing end to the game! I think that will go into the books as another one of those amazing plays in college football (along side the U of Cal vs. Stanford play where the Cal Bears won off the kickoff return where they kept lateraling the ball until they scored). I actually thought I was going to see a repeat of that fieldgoal attempt during the Vikings / Bears game on Sunday when in the final second of regular time Chicago tried for a 66-yard fieldgoal and the Vikings sent someone to the endzone to run the ball out if the fieldgoal missed (which is what happened, but unlike the Auburn game, the Vikings were tackled in their half of the field to send the game into OT).

It will really be interesting to see how the standings will be affected by Alabama's loss. Since I'm a Big 10 fan, I'd love to see that loss move Ohio State into the title game!

I cannot believe that Alabama made no effort at all to cover the missed field goal return, they all stood around with their thumbs in dark places like dolts! This was OK with me as I was wanting the Auburn guys to win. Really was one of the best college ball games I have ever watched. Good show!

Auburn/Alabama was some kind of game.  The missed field goal run back for a 100 yard touchdown was fantastic.  (I'm still trying to figure out how that player was in exactly the right place to catch the ball.)  The 99 yard touchdown reception was something and the sewing machine on the field was something I've surely never seen before.
