Well Hensley i have said this more than once here.NOT all religeons lead to God and the worship HE expects from us.

Good example is in Jesus day,the Pharsees thought they were worshiping God....Jesus told them the devil was their father.Also Jesus said about many...they would come to him and say,"Lord we expelled demons and did all the right things in your name etc.....Jesus told them to take a hike..."you teach mens doctrines"

Christendom is the same today.The bible refers to Christendom as Babylon the Great in Revelation.In Biblical times Babylon was a place where much of false worship took place starting with Nimrod.Its symbolic to day for christendom because of their false teachings.Jehovah God detests it.The Israelites were Gods chosen people in OT and God punished them when they strayed away from Him.

No, but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I've had weird things happen around my house that I can't explain, but that doesn't necessarily mean they were caused by ghosts.

Hey King.....i am curious....you quote bible verse but then say ghosts/spirits are figments?

Are you aware Jesus acknowledged satans existence with his hordes?

What are they?

Or do you choose to support just SOME of the bible?

Now ghosts meaning a dead human.....yes that doesnt exist.Bible says at death we go back to dust...non-existence.But spirit realm is quite real.The influence of it in this world is hard to ignore.Rebellious angels.

well the thing that gets me as a child i swear i saw one,we lived on this farm and their was a big white house up on a hill we would always see a glowing white woman in a white dress with the wind blowing her dress and hair,but now that im older just wander every now and then if it was just some lady standing up there

When we first built this house and moved in, for over two months I would see a black shadow walk from the kitchen to the hallway near the other end of the house.

Hubby's mother died in 1981 but the first two weeks in the house, it had the scent of Patchoulli, which his mother used all the time in her place. Told hubby she was visiting to check the place out.

Christmas Eve is the time the whole faimly gets together in the garage and that same year, we were talking about the past and started telling stories of hubby's mother. All of a sudden the lights went out! No one was near the light switch. We were all in the center of the garage. I got up from my chair and with my lighter found the way to the light switch. It was in the 'off' position. Told everyone we had to stop talking about her because she didn't like what we were saying.

When I was young, my mom would tell me when someone in our family died, there would be 3 knocks on the door, but if I heard that, not to open the door. Yep. She was right. One night I heard the 3 knocks, too, and next day found out her uncle died. Creepy.

yes we were raised with alot of different things nevr sure what is real and what is not

Jesus said when you know the truth it sets you free from all superstitions etc.

If you support bible you know the condition of the dead is non-existence.Also that there is a spirit realm where much evil lurks on this earth.

These evil spirits have much to do in posing as dead relatives etc.Gods word was written to guide mankind.Its a shame christendom claims to teach it but doesnt.Then there are just those that have their own views etc or are atheists.

I guess they all they cant be right eh?Maybe its time to those that seek truth to use discenment here.

Yes, I think consciousness flows on somewhere but I can't explain it and don't worry about it. It is what it is.

I have never seen a ghost, so no I guess I don't really believe in them. I do think that when you leave this earth you are either in Heaven or Hell. Now what I'm not sure about is if God allows people to come back and look around, but I really don't think so. I don't know. I just have never seen a ghost.
