Christmas Tree Is Up!

Christmas tree is up waiting on my 6 ft son to come home for the night tomorrow to shape and put lights on and all my grandkids to come help sunday decorate ,then all our christmas gifts come in thru ups then we ready

We always put our tree up the Sunday following Thanksgiving.  Our youngest daughter usually tries to come help us decorate but she's out of town till sometime tomorrow so don't really expect her to make it to help decorate.  I love this time of year, especially since we now have 3 grandkids who live in town.  Wish the other 3 did but don't think that will ever happen.  They live about 4-4 1/2 hrs away and hardly have time to come in about 2-3 times a year.

i still haven't put my tree up yet--i just can't get in the christmas spirit this year --don't know why --just burnt out i guess --i start christmas at the ministry in october and by the time christmas really does get here --i just over it!

Putting up our Christmas tree on the Friday after Thanksgiving has become a tradition for us for the last ten years or so, seem to tie the holidays together.

awesome we got ours up at the start of November haha, I love looking at all the colorful lights and decorations something about it makes me feel happy inside.

Good for all of you.  We are running behind this year.  We wanted to get a real tree but it seems we're running out of time and $$$ all to quickly.  We try and get our tree up the weekend before Thanksgiving - but not this year.  It's sort of a pain because or fake tree is here but all our decorations are in storage at my Mom's.  She's about 20 min away... not far but just far enough to make me say oh I'll get to it tomorrow.  UGH!  Maybe I can convince everyone in my family this year to just use my sons mini tree?

I'm with most of the replies.  I don't have the tree up or any decorations yet.  I know it's coming and I better get my actin gear, but for some reason I'm not motivated.  We'll probably put everything up this weekend.

Just put up the X'mas tree last night....My family loves it....Looking forward to the big day with families...
