Well, guess it depends on what they are preaching.....if it comes from the Bible~I'd say I wouldn't have much to listen to from them.  If you preach the Bible....follow it.

Consider these definitions:
Religion is an institution established by man for various reasons. Exert control, instill morality, stroke egos, or whatever it does. Organized, structured religions all but remove god from the equation. You confess your sins to a clergy member, go to elaborate churches to worship, told what to pray and when to pray it. All those factors remove you from god.

Spirituality is born in a person and develops in the person. It may be kick started by a religion, or it may be kick started by a revelation. Spirituality extends to all facets of a person’s life. Spirituality is chosen while religion is often times forced. Being spiritual to me is more important and better than being religious.
True spirituality is something that is found deep within oneself. It is your way of loving, accepting and relating to the world and people around you. It cannot be found in a church or by believing in a certain way.

quoted from Religion vs Spirituality.

This is where I find myself. I believe I am more Spirituality than of a need for Religion.  This why I will say this, maybe some Preachers feel the will of the Lord but may not follow in what is in construction of the Christian BIBLE. You can preach the word but in most revealing of Pastors is life Spiritual encounters.

Considering the word you used was "preachers" and not "priests",   I would say that every pastor I have ever known has had beautiful help mate wives who are instrumental in helping in the Church.  The Catholic Church differs.  And children out of wedlock...that is a hot button issue, I know.  Yes, it is looked on as sinful.  However, here, I would say to each his own.  If a person can really handle the obligation, responsibility, and expense of parenthood on their own and can give the child all that he/she needs then their life is full of their own choices.  I would much rather see a child raised in a single parent home than in a home where the couple has only remained together for the sake of the children.  Just my humble opinion.
I agree with your assumption. Thanks for your comment.

It's wrong no matter who does it. Do people do it anyway? Of course.  :(
I feel for the people who start a relationship and end up leaving a child behind who does not have the benefit of two committed loving parents.

It's hard enough raising children with two parents, let alone one. I do admire the people who end up in that position through no fault of their own, but I personally feel that children do much better within the confines of a marriage between one man and one woman, and research seems to bear this out.

I also admire those women who choose to have their children rather than aborting them. The children are the innocent victims and deserve to be loved.  :angel11:

Wrong no it is not. Theoretically, the workload required to raise kids alone should be twice as heavy as when two parents are present. But in fact, the energy it takes to argue over who does what can be far more draining than the task itself. Consider all the time and effort that goes into figuring out a system of sharing chores, nagging your spouse to fulfill his part of the bargain, resenting him for not doing it, and then figuring out a new system that probably won't work either. I promise you, doing it alone is far easier. Quote from a single parenting website. When you have two parents fighting over who is right and wrong seems to me take a bigger toll on a child.

I am not religious at all however i think that if they are the type to shove religion down your throat then maybe they should take to cleaning up their own skeletons in their closets before checking out mine.

Nobody is perfect, however I do think some are held to a higher standard because of their place in the community or the nation.

I mean what Clinton did wasn't such a big deal as many men do this, but in his position, it wasn't real bright.  Preachers or any religious leader should be held to a higher standard, but he/she is human, what are you gona do?  I mean people do stupid things.

It $ucks to be human sometimes ...  :-[
