Preparing For Tommorow
« on: November 27, 2013, 12:14:36 pm »
How many of you Prep Your Thanksgiving one day early?

On Thanksgiving Eve (I Always Call The Day Before Thanksgiving ThanksGving Eve!) I usually prep some of my food so it's less things i have to get done on the actual Day. I find it less time consuming and gives you more time to spend with your family and Family is one thing to be thank full for. When we were little we always got to help with the prepping and we still do i think it's very educational and fun! Kids get a big kick out of it because if they do something small it's like they made the whole meal. They feel proud! It also teaches them early how to do certain things. Yes Family is great. We have a new addition to our family this year. Going to be her very first thanksgiving and although she can't eat any of the big food and she probably won't even remember it. It's going to be a joyous first experience.
This year is going to be a big hit! New Tradition and a new Addition to the family Can't get any better than that!
Haha What are you thankful for this year?
:turkey: Gobble Gobble! Happy Thanksgiving eve! And Happy Prepping for all those who Prep Early!  :turkey:

This year I am thankful for not having to cook!! I will be traveling but family is treating us out to eat! Then we follow up with desert & coffee back at the house. Sleep over one night and then travel back home on black Friday. I may rethink that...LOL!! Hope your Thanksgiving is a blessed one! Gobble Gobble  :turkey:

I baked a pumpkin pie and cooked a cheesecake in the crockpot today. I also thawed the rolls I'll be baking.
