I heard about a 60 year old woman that shot a teenager when a group of them were targeting her for the knockout game, although according to Snopes that story thus far cannot be confirmed, and so they believe that it is just a hoax. But it does raise an interesting possibility.... Several states have conceal and carry laws, so even if this were just a fake story, it's conceivable that something like this could happen in the future. As it is right now, there are already some confirmed deaths resulting from these attacks (see http://news.msn.com/us/random-attacks-probed-for-links-to-knockout-game), although aside from the story that I saw circulating on FB, I haven't heard of any confirmed reports where the attackers were killed instead. Regardless, as the saying goes, it's all fun and games until someone gets hurt... and in this case with people dying, this has far crossed the line of just "fun and games".

I get sick to my stomach every time I see this on the news. What would possess someone to knock down a complete stranger just for the fun of it. I don't get it.

This is beyond disturbing.  If somebody comes up and tries to knock me out or knocks down or out somebody in my family I feel that is grounds to put a bullet in their head.  Let's take the knock out game to an all new level.

what i find disturbing is the fact that many are saying that they are doing this because they are board.  im sorry but when did boredom become a reason to physically assault a person even going so far as to do this to babies and children.  i think this stems from the inability to punish our children for wrongdoings.

It is remarkable that we see nothing of any of these thugs getting arrested and prosecuted. Seriously concerning as these idiots post their misdeeds all over the internet. I seems that at least one of these  perps could be readily ID'd, arrested and prosecuted to the max! Kind of makes one wonder just what is going down here.

I think it is sicking. The thugs romeing the streets, knocking people to the ground because they are bored does not cut it with me. Why are they not working??? Everyone of them they catch should be put put in jail and forced to do hard labor and maybe when they get out would go to work instead of being on the free hand outs. This is what happens when they all this free time on there.
