I've been using the coupons here and on InboxDollars for some of the items I use in my house.  It only costs a few cents to print the coupons, and I often save $1-1.5 with each coupon, but mainly on health and beauty products.  The food coupons are often for things we do not buy/eat in my household.

For us the earnings don't justify the cost per print on the coupons.  They're normally for things I don't use, not even my friends or family will use the items.  I just try to earn elsewhere and stay away from the coupons.

i have been couponing for several years now and am a proud extreme couponer.  the most i have ever saved at one time is 100 bucks.  yes coupons save you money yes it is great to get reimbursed for printing the coupons but why would you print a coupon that you have no intention of using.  there are times that i will print out a coupon but when i get to the store i decided the remain amount left to pay after the coupon is still to much that i dont use the coupon but i would never just print a coupon to print a coupon and typically you have to use the coupon to actually get the reimbursement anyway.

It does cost a little bit to print coupons.  I guess it depends on how much you paid for your ink.

I have printed coupons on before but it's not a practice I consistently utilize.  I'm with those that have a difficult time justifying the cost of ink in savings.  Most of the time I'm all about coupons.  I'd much rather clip from circulars.  Or use programs like saving star so there is no paper used at all.
