One of my favorites would have to be my mom's apple cobbler. Add some vanilla ice cream to it and it's even better. When fall arrives, I usually get in the mood for all things apple.

I love sweet potato pie.  I miss my late friend because his sweet potato pies were to die for.   My husband bought a box of sweet potatoes.  He loves his "yams", but I plan to bake some potatoes in their own skin with butter.  Yummy!

Ok I'm going completely off the rack with this one. I may be a southern girl but I can't stand pumpkin, sweet potato nor pecan, my husband and kids yes but... for me it's a good apple pie or the coconut custard pie we make.

Since i am not a sweet eater i really prefer some kind of fruit compot. But now as far as hubby goes anything but pumpkin. So when thanksgiving comes along he is  in heaven.

I like to make pumpkin pie with fresh pumpkin.  Though to change it up I've made pumpkin cobbler a time or two.  I love pumpkin.
