Shoes
« on: November 17, 2013, 11:29:02 am »
I'm on my feet all day at work. I work 5 10hour days. Pretty soon I'm gonna be working 60hrs a week for the christmas holiday season. Could someone please recommend a good pair of sneakers for my sore feet? I always go home after work and have to soak my feet. Thank to everyone that can help me on this matter.

I have foot issues, too, and can only wear Reeboks.  They fit my foot better than any other brand.  My doctor years ago told me to get some of Dr. Scholl's insoles to put inside my tennis shoes.  They quit making the insoles that I bought originally, so I'm trying to make my old ones last.  But I've tried some of Dr. Scholl's other selections, too, and they are helpful also. I need a good arch support to be able to stand long periods.  You might want to try one of the insole varieties and see if that will help.

My sister always had foot issues and a few years ago tried a brand called Orthaheels.  All problems went away and now she only wears them.  They had all different styles from slippers to sneakers and everything in between.  Good luck, there is nothing worse then your feet hurting!

I have always worn New Balance because they come in narrow sizes and help eliminate hip and knee pain as well. There might be orthotic shoes more suited to your situation, however.

my might recommend the nurses shoe. They kind of different shape but I think those shoes designed for those who stand on their feet for very long... I hope this will help. :highfive: :highfive:

The best way to get a good pair of shoes is to into the store and try on different shoes. The ones that support your arch and is light weight also enough cushion for the heels part you will be okay. I did that and I have these great pair of sketchers that I just love. I have a high arch so it pains me to have a shoe that does not support this. Hope this helps you. :) :turkey:
