Launching @ Midnight PST: A totally new task opportunity

We're happy to announce that a new tasks panel will become available at midnight tonight (Thursday) NOW!.  With it, you'll be able to earn cash for transcribing business cards.

This has been in the works for a while and we're hoping that you'll enjoy it.  Unlike some other tasks, the criteria for correctness is objective and with some practice you can speed through them (rewards are around 1c per full card transcribed).

Why midnight? Everyone will be sleeping...LOL!! This sounds like it might be interesting. Will have to give them a try...is this going to be an ongoing task as far as availability??

It's going to be ongoing.  The midnight release was chosen due to timezone factors (the transcription tasks come from a company in Japan, 17 hours ahead of California time!).

Edit: Just to be clear, there are thousands of cards in the transcription queue right now and more being added all the time - so you are not likely to run out of work any time soon- day or night!

OK, so I just clicked into this new Task and after reading all there was to read and agreeing to everything, I get to my first task.  Weird, but the "business card" was UPSIDE DOWN and I'm having difficulty reading it that way!  LOL, I guess I'll try anyway!

Credits post once per day.  There is a countdown timer at the bottom of the page which indicates how long until the next crediting batch.  It happens at 8am Pacific / 11am Eastern, every day.  Your "Completed" count will reset to zero and be credited to your FC account.

Unfortunately it seems like they do occasionally appear upside down.  Just try your best and don't worry too much if you make a mistake.  I will see if they can add a function to rotate the images.
