How do you like your steak?

When you go into a restaurant, or if you cook steak at home, how do you like it done? (Medium rare, Rare, Done,etc.)

I don't like steak at all.. But as all my meat i prefer all meat COOKED WELL DONE meaning NO PINK MEAT

I like steak, thick steak cooked medium rare, with a good sear outside.  It's easier to do inside in a pan, but the flavor's better when cooked outside.  America's Test Kitchen taught me to get the pan real hot to get that good sear which works great unless I set off the smoke detector.

With all the ecoli, listeria, and salmonella in our food source that I've been hearing about in the news, definitely well done.

light/medium rare, just enough to kill bugs  , so tender and juicy.  My bucket list of tasting:I never ate years-aged steak, taste steak at a Texas steakhouse.  Awesome, you can't fake steak. 
Salt and pepper is not needed, really, tender is the best ingredient.

Medium rare at a restaurant and at home. Nice sear on the out side but basically rare inside.
