Computer weirdness
« on: November 12, 2013, 04:20:13 pm »
I was scrolling a page looking at posts, and my computer started beeping. It stopped when I stopped scrolling.

What does that mean?? Why does it do that??  :confused1:

Hasn't happened to me.

Did it beep again when you tried to scroll again?
Does it happen on other sites and/or pages?

Does your mouse need a new battery?(My mouse flashes red when it needs a new battery; but maybe your mouse is different.)

I've never experienced anything like that but I was thinking along with the guy above.  Do you use a wireless mouse?  That is the first thing that I thought of here...

It depends on where the beep came from.  If it came from your computer case, it could be an issue but I don't know what the beep was.  If it came from your speakers, it could just be what they did on the website to make it unique.  If it came from your mouse, it could be a low battery or something along those lines.

Generally if there are issues like that, try Googling it to see if it has happened before.

Thanks for the replies.  :)

It's not a wireless mouse, and the beeping comes from the computer case.
It's not Fusion Cash, it has done it on other sites as well.

The only thing I can figure is that I'm scrolling too fast for my computer to keep up with when trying to get to the bottom of a long page in a hurry.
