First Pet

My first pet was a goldfish which lasted about two weeks, followed by a couple of guppies which made it about three weeks.  Quickly figured out we were not ment to take care of fish.  So we got a mutt mixed breed dog that lived with us for 15 years.

My first and second pets were both parakeets.  Tweety, the first, was blue and Chirpy was yellow.  Tweety talked a lot and imitated everything, even mom's cursing so he had to start coming up with me when I went to bed.  Chirpy was a girl so she didn't talk.

My first pet was a tomcat named Timothy. I don't remember him though, cause I was only 2 years old at the time. My family tell me he used to hang on to my diapers with his claws, ripping the cotton out of them. Timothy was a bit of a devil from what I've been told. LOL...

I think my was a cat but it could have been a gold fish, I forget. I have a cat now that is 18 years old.

My first pet was a kitten we named Tippy.  I don't know how old he was when he died, but I know we had him a long time.  I used to "dress" him up in doll clothing and put him in my doll carriage!

I'm not judging but I myself don't really consider a fish to be a pet.  Anyway, like many I am sure my first pet was a dog and I loved that guy everyday until the day he died.

My first pet was a black lab.  She was amazing.  Then we got two gerbils that ended up having babies so that's how we got my next six pets.  Finally I have my current black lab.

My first pet was a dog. His name was Spike. For the life of me I can not remember the breed. He was hit by a car and I witnessed it. Very traumatic for a 6-7 year old.

Ya, I think fish was the first....horribly taken care of goldfish at that!  Then wild rabbits for a year. Then a mutt! Good times!
