Does anyone see any shooting stars anymore????

I remember as a kid I would see them all the time, but I don't see them anymore.  what's up with that???

only when we go upstate NY where there is no light pollution - way out in the 'country.'
Even then, maybe 1 or 2 a summer, not like when we were kids & saw them all summer long

Shooting stars are not nearly as common with the amount of light and electrical pollution these days... We see them out here in the sticks if it's a clear enough night; if you can see the Milky Way... ^^

i see one once in a while...those nice warm nights when you can spend some time outside just looking up into the sky...i live near the adirondacks.
last summer, camping in maine - i saw a lot.

I've seen one last year. It was late at night and i was looking close to the sky and i saw something flown thourgh the air...a shooting star.
