I just noticed that all my thanks were gone. I now have 0. I also noticed that everyone else has 0. Wonder if we will get them back or are we starting over.

I gave you your first thanks. Keeping the post alive so that maybe someone will post if there are any benefits to having lots of thanks. I really don't know. I just always thank people who post something that interest me.

The thanks just make me feel good. I don't think it's any more than that. I would assume it's also an encouraging way to promote useful posts.

I don't know the purpose of the Thanks but when I feel need I like to say thanks. It is always a great feeling to give thanks. It also helps to encourage the other person. If someone shares something you didn't know it is always polite to say thanks. I learn a lot in the forum. Thanks to all of you who do post.

I enjoy reading the thanks.  It is a great way to start my day.  I am up to 119 thanks.  I am for giving advice, especially if it helps someone else.  Unfortunately, I can't read them any more.  I would like to be able to read them though.

The Thanks Button is just a way to let the person who helped you know you appreciated their help. It's actually more of a graditude  thing you don't get anything out of it exept the warm fuzzy feeling knowing that your thanked =]
