I love to go to the farmer's market during the spring and summer months.  I love fresh vegetables and knowing where they come from is a plus.

We have two main ones here in the general area but the open air one I don't really like. They over price alot of their stuff. But the big one up near my husbands work we love. Not only do they have stuff from the area but all over the world. It's great sometimes to be able to try different foods.

I love the farmers market. And sorry to say they have already closed. It is seasonal and we have already had to acold weather. But i do love the fresh produce. Although we now have terminal here where they recieve food on trucks and divert it to other towns and always on sat. the sell all that was not shipped and it is still fresh and good, beats the heck out of the grocery store. Today i picked up 10 avacados and nice for 50 cents each, 3 large yellow squash for$1..  Nice firm cucumbers 3/$1. head of lettuce for 65cents. large onion for a quarter and a few other items . Love to buy groceries so cheap.

i love going to farmers market, because its a lot cheaper and fresh.

I am all about organic fruits and vegetables.  They can be expensive and it is cheaper at the flea market/farmer's market.  I went there a couple of months ago....not organic.  Be where, they can fool you.  Here we have Mexican's buying it wholesale somewhere and that's why they can sell it so cheap.  They make it appear homegrown and organic but it isn't.

I haven't been to a farmers market for a number of years.  I often think about it because I always loved finding that special something.

farmers markets here have already closed for the season, which is a shame.  always have preferred fresh fruits and veggies over the grocery store ones

I think every community should have a "Farmers Market" and every community should have large heated greenhouses and everyone should be a farmer.  Just my little utopian community.  Maybe someday when I get off my lazy *bleep* I can work on building utopia.  I will put it on my list!

It's been years since I have been to a Farmer's Market as there isn't any close to me but I do buy produce from the people that put up stands along the road in the summer.

I hope the farmer's market here doesn't stop in the raining season. xD because it's much cheaper to get my veggies there than from Albertsons. xD
