I feel the difference is with tasks, you know right away whether or not you'll be eligible for getting approved for the tasks, but with surveys, you may do them, but sometimes will not be approved to get paid for doing them.

Surveys are in general faster but the DQing can be annoying -- I am also finding some tasks that are quick and easy to do sometimes as well.

I am new and have only done some tasks. i will be trying the surveys all this month to see which I like better. I will probably end up doing some combination of the two. It is good to read peoples ideas in this forum.

:) I prefer the surveys. I usually don't do the tasks.  :clover:

What are people thoughs about earning money through tasks vs surveys.

I know the surveys probably pay more, but you can get disqualifed for a lot of surveys.  Do some people out there feel they can make more in a month doing tasks vs surveys.

What's a good ratio for tasks of payout vs time to complete and success rate??

for me it is neither I usually don't qualify for surveys and if I do it is one or two  tasks I find tedious
I alway look for the easy ones usually I will make about .05.

I usually stay away from tasks. I think they are too time involving for little reward and often come with unclear directions. Surveys pay much better and can be fun but it gets frustrating to keep getting DQ'd. The worst is when you've completed what seems to be most of the survey's questions and are DQ'd after 10 min of participating. I think those ones are just frauds.

I do surveys and tasks.  If you can qualify the surveys are great but the tasks are steady and slow money.

I seem to get DQ'd from most of the surveys.  :-\  I will do some of the tasks but I wish they paid more.  I was validating articles.and authors and getting a 1/2 a cent per page completed! A 1/2 a cent?!?! What is that!? ::)

I do mostly the surveys and the videos.  I feel most comfortable with those.

Overall surveys do pay much more, but you do get disqualified more often. I would suggest doing as many of both of them as possible. Many times there are only a few tasks available a day to do, so the surveys are really the way to go, other days it goes the other way.

I was not much into tasks for awhile but have found some higher paying taks .10 to .50 cents that dont take very long.

There at times are several 5 cent to 7 cent tasks that are not too bad in length and difficulty that you can do if you have no other work to do.  I still go through all my survey offers first though before doing any tasks unless I can find a 25 or 50 cent task I know is easy and quick.

Tasks seems to take too much time, I do surveys, you at least usually get a penny for just trying... :rainbow:

Lately, definitely survey.  There is not much to do on the task.

Survey's definitely pay more than task.  I can make an easy 3.00 in surveys in one hour to make that in tasks would take all day.
